When the Ears Begin to Whisper

Who listens when the ear begins to whisper
Who hears what the ear has to say
Who knows what the ear has to tell him
If all the ear has told him is lies all day
Who can gaze into the eyes and see what they are speaking
or touch the fingers and learn what they are seeking
Where then do the shoulders lean
or who will carry the weary feet
Who massages the weary hands
and where turns a cheek for warmth
Who will comfort the tear
Who has been wiped away?

  1. I like seeing you around the net again. That's an interesting last line "Who has been wiped away?"

It seems to me that you have added poet and writer to your arsenal of artistry. I can only imagine that singer and musician are not far behind.

  2. Hiya Casey,
actually, *ahem*, bit o' a misunderstandin. I'm Swanny, not Rawny. I don't think Granville even remembers his blog exists, haha. I should go amend that post on EyelessFeesh. :p
But~ you're welcome to stick around! XD

  4. Ahem. That explains a lot. Classic case of mistaken identity. Too interested in confirming my own conclusion so I ignored a lot of evidence to the contrary (like being named "Swansong" and writing in a, uh, significantly different style).

Interesting work nonetheless. I'll keep an eye on you.
